Dear Kit's Apothecary Customers, First of all, I want to say a tremendous thank you for the ten years you have stood by my little business. What began as a mother's desire to support her son's health grew into a true, thriving business over the past decade. Together, we’ve weathered flooding, multiple moves, and the uncertainty of CBD regulations. I did my best to keep going through every hurdle, but it has become apparent that my role in the wellness space has shifted. With that major transition, I am closing our online store. Why now? Many reasons come to mind, but above all, the community that needs me most right now is the Rare Disease community. My advocacy path—which started the day my son was born with Adrenal Insufficiency—has expanded once more. Out of necessity, I founded the Global Adrenal Testing Consortium, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and my work leading this organization must now take precedence. I am working directly with leaders across the field—from the Mayo Clinic and Harvard to the FDA—and that mission requires my full focus. As I will be traveling quite a lot to fulfill this role, I also need to prioritize my family and my own health.
